My second book, Running with Sara is officially published. This one was a lot more fun to write than the first one since my eleven year old daughter Sara and I wrote it together.
If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you probably know that Sara and I started running 5Ks together earlier this year and so far our results have been great. Running with Sara is about teaching kids to run and some of the things that Sara and I did to make training for her first few races fun. Some of the topics we covered in the book include selecting races, putting together a training schedule, selecting the best locations for our runs, the gear we used and the races themselves. If you have kids that are interested in running (or any other sport), hopefully our book will have some helpful tips for you.
Sara wrote part of each chapter to give readers her own point of view on the topics we covered. She also wrote her own chapter at the end with advice for other kids her age that are interested in running.
If you want to check out Running with Sara, it’s available in both Kindle and Paperback versions on Amazon. Also, if you order between now and Wednesday, December 2, 2015 you can get the Kindle versions of both of my books for free.
Just like I said when I published Southern Fried Running, I’m more interested in getting good feedback than I am with making a lot of money from my writing. So if you read either of my books, feel free to leave a comment below or drop me a line to let me know your thoughts about what you liked or what you would have liked to see more or less of.
